About the Role

Uber Eats Taiwan's Merchant team seeks a Merchant Analytics Manager adept in leveraging robust data structures and tools to provide impactful insights and support account managers with consultative selling insights and recommendations.

Data serves as the lifeblood of our strategic endeavors, facilitating deep dives into opportunities, organizational governance, and team performance enhancements. Given our team's size of over 250 professionals, a strong analytics function is indispensable in providing real-time intelligence, strategic insights, and analytical support to empower the acquisition team in driving successful merchant relationships.

Your Impact in Role

• Conduct comprehensive data analyses to unearth actionable insights and recommendations that enable the Acquisition Team in consultative selling.
• Develop and manage data pipelines to ensure smooth data flow and accessibility, empowering the team with timely and relevant information.
• Spearhead strategic initiatives across critical business areas, aiming for market leadership and maximum impact.
• Automate and optimize key workflows to enhance efficiency, enabling the Acquisition Team to focus on fostering strong merchant relationships and driving business growth.
• Provide consultative insights and recommendations across various domains such as sales productivity, sales funnel analysis, churn and merchant quality topics to drive recommendations for merchant strategy.

The Experience You'll Bring

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, consultant, or a related field.
• Demonstrated capability in presenting complex information to tech and non-tech audiences.
• Ability to analyze merchant data to derive actionable insights and recommendations to support operations team and acquisition team
• Proficiency in managing relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration to meet merchant needs effectively.
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English for effective communication and influence, both verbally and in written form.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably with merchant-facing experience or can demonstrate an understanding of merchant sentiments and needs.
• Basic proficiency in SQL or data analytics skills is a plus, demonstrating an aptitude for working with data to support decision-making processes, with a willingness to learn and develop these skills as needed for the role.
