About Us
Uber is changing how people think about transportation, part of the logistical fabric of 600+ cities - giving people what they want when they want it.
Size: 10000+ employees
Industry: Technology
About the Role:
Are you ready to shape the future of mobility in the world's fastest-growing transportation segment? Uber is looking for a Senior UX Researcher to be the strategic voice of** Motorcycles (Moto)** across our global platform.
Moto isn't just a product at Uber; it's a high-growth phenomenon that redefines how millions of people navigate congested cities. As our Senior UXR, you won't just conduct studies-you will own the research vision for a global portfolio. You will dive deep into the interconnected world of Safety, Marketplace, and Earner/Rider experiences, transforming raw human insights into the product DNA that powers Uber Moto worldwide.
---- What You Will Do ----
- Define the Research North Star: Serve as the global domain expert for Moto UXR, architecting a research strategy that harmonizes Earner, Rider, Safety, and Marketplace perspectives.
- Pioneer Methodologies: Lead end-to-end foundational and evaluative research. We don't just want you to use existing methods; we expect you to** pioneer and adapt new frameworks** for the unique challenges of two-wheel mobility.
- Strategic Influence: Identify and drive high-impact, cross-vertical research that shapes product roadmaps and business decisions at both program and portfolio levels.
- Deep Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as a strategic consultant to Product, Design, Engineering, Data Science, and Ops, ensuring the user's voice is the heartbeat of our long-term vision.
- Evangelize Insights: Synthesize complex data into compelling, actionable narratives that cultivate user empathy and drive decisive business action across the organization.
- Global Impact at Scale: Collaborate with regional hubs to scale insights worldwide, ensuring that local market nuances are captured while maintaining a cohesive global product strategy.
- Elevate the Craft: Provide research leadership and mentorship, reviewing work and setting a high bar for quality and rigor across the entire UXR community.
- Balance & Resilience: Navigate a fast-paced environment by balancing immediate product needs with long-term safety imperatives and business sustainability.
