About the Role
The Chief of Staff, Global Field Operations will serve as a strategic extension of Global Field Ops leadership, enabling high-quality, fast decision-making across a complex, global organization. Reporting directly to the Global Field Ops S&P leader, this role will work in close partnership with the Global Field Ops Leader to integrate cross-functional inputs, drive alignment, and extend leadership capacity.
This role is designed for a trusted thought partner with strong judgment, analytical rigor, and exceptional communication skills. You will operate across strategic, operational, and analytical dimensions - connecting work in flight, framing leadership decisions, and helping move ideas from concept to execution across Global Field Ops.
What You'll Do:

Senior Leadership Integrator

Enable the connection for Global Field Ops leadership by integrating inputs across Regional Field Ops teams, CST Experience, and S&P functions.- Maintain a strong understanding of all work in flight across Global Field Ops**, including advising on key topics to surface at the right time to our internal team and key stakeholders.**- Synthesize complex, cross-functional inputs into cohesive, decision-ready narratives for leadership review.- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on priorities, sequencing, and dependencies.

Act as a connector across Field Ops and adjacent Uber orgs to support seamless execution of leadership priorities.

Strategic & Analytical Partner

Provide strategic and analytical support to Global Field Ops leadership through ad hoc analyses, problem-solving, and structured recommendations.- Clearly frame issues, options, trade-offs, and risks to support effective leadership decision-making.- Support leadership in moving ideas from early concept through alignment and into execution by coordinating across teams.

Prepare leadership materials, talking points, and narratives that reflect a holistic view of Global Field Ops.

Executive Support & Capacity Extension

Serve as a day-to-day strategic extension of the Global Field Ops leader, helping manage priorities, context switching, and follow-through.- Attend meetings as needed and represent Global Field Ops with credibility and context.

Identify emerging issues, misalignment, or gaps and proactively surface them for leadership discussion.

Increase leadership leverage by ensuring the right information is in the room at the right time.

Execution & Delivery

Own and drive high-priority cross-functional initiatives on behalf of Global Field Ops leadership.

Establish clear plans, timelines, and accountability structures to ensure initiatives move from alignment to implementation.

Track progress against key milestones and proactively unblock risks or bottlenecks.

Basic Qualifications
-
7+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, program management, or stakeholder management roles.
-
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Strong strategic and analytical problem-solving skills, with experience defining success metrics and synthesizing complex information.
-
Experience independently pulling data and performing analyses to inform business decisions.
-
High judgment, discretion, and comfort operating closely with senior leaders in ambiguous environments.

Experience supporting senior leadership in a Chief of Staff, strategy, or operational leadership capacity.
-
Strong data fluency, including comfort working with metrics, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear, actionable plans.
-
Self-starter with an ownership mindset and strong follow-through.
-
Experience working in large, matrixed, or global organizations.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD**$162,000 per year**
-
USD**$180,000 per year**.
You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan.
