About the Role:

As a Senior Partner Manager, you will manage one of our largest restaurant merchant relationships. You will work in a client-facing role to drive partnership growth through demand generation, pitch and upsell strategy, and expansion opportunities. Partner Managers work cross-functionally with Partner Engineers, Product, and Marketing to optimize partnerships and provide maximum value for both Uber and our strategic merchant partners. You will work to meet and exceed our team's quarterly growth targets which are currently centered around Net Acquisition, Demand Generation, and Trips.

Who are we looking for? Someone who has proven success building best-in-class partnerships with complex brands and developing deep executive-level relationships. This candidate will also have a passion for logistics, e Commerce, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

  • Build relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers within partner organizations
  • Focus on optimizing the national marketing strategy, using internal data and our Ad/Measurement Operation teams to identify insights and action plans to achieve growth goals
  • Lead key project workstreams to drive growth for the merchant partner at scale
  • Partner with cross-functional teams. Be the voice of the customer and seamlessly navigate internal processes
  • Increase product adoption and secure marketing investment. Clearly communicate the value of our products with a lens of creativity to differentiate our offerings
  • Handle the big picture and the tiny details. You are organized, timely and ensure nothing gets missed; you are also attuned to strategy and consistently come up with new ways to create or contribute to our partnerships
  • Navigate negotiations, difficult partner conversations, and internal roadblocks
  • Bring your analytical A-game. Develop business models and analyses with Global Partner Ops Analysts to understand trends, provide meaningful insights, and track the impact of initiatives against our goals.
  • This role involves travel a minimum of 1x per quarter - primarily domestic, including visits to merchants, conventions and offsites. International travel may be required on occasion.

Develop and execute partnership strategy to achieve growth goals

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8+ years of full-time professional experience in a client-facing role working with large enterprises & Global partnerships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience handling enterprise and executive-level partnerships, ideally with global brands

  • Experience in food delivery and/or third-party marketplaces at a high-growth tech company

  • Experience working in ads sales, marketing, operations, business development, or partnerships at a leading restaurant brand

  • Ability to build and implement joint business plans, prioritizing initiatives that will drive strategic value for the partnership

  • Ability to flex your analytical skills and use data to influence decision-makers and quantify opportunities

  • Speed, resourcefulness, and go-getter mentality. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and navigating ambiguity

  • Strong listening, communication, and organizational skills

  • Coachability, interest in implementing feedback, and dedication to the improvement of your craft and our team's development.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

  • For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD**$134,000 per year**

  • USD**$149,500 per year**.

  • For Los Angeles, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD**$134,000 per year**

  • USD**$149,500 per year**.

  • For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD**$149,000 per year**

  • USD**$166,000 per year**.

  • For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD**$149,000 per year**

  • USD**$166,000 per year**.
