About the Role

As a Franchisee Account Executive, you will focus on activating and expanding locations within already-signed national and regional brands. This is a critical role in closing the gap between HQ commitment and local execution. You'll run full-cycle sales; identifying opportunities, engaging local decision-makers, managing objections, and onboarding stores successfully. 1. Own and execute the acquisition and onboarding of individual franchisee locations for national and regional brands
  2. Collaborate with the Enterprise expansions team to align on brand-level strategies and prioritize outreach
  3. Deliver consultative, localized pitches to individual franchisees, helping them understand the business impact of Uber Eats
  4. Track performance and iterate on messaging and approach to maximize conversion rates
  5. Represent Uber Eats as a trusted growth partner to small business owners across Japan
  6. Partner closely with Sales Ops and Support to ensure smooth onboarding and launch

Basic Qualifications

  1. 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, ideally in a fast-paced environment
  2. Proven ability to manage a high volume of outreach and successfully convert leads into onboarded partners
  3. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships quickly and earn trust with local business owners
  4. Organized and disciplined approach to pipeline management and follow-through
  5. Comfort working independently while staying aligned to national brand strategies

Native-level Japanese and conversational English:
