Rate of Pay: $150,000 to $166,000 per year

Duties: Design, develop, and test software applications. Design, develop, and/or test software applications using company technology stack. Apply technical knowledge to evaluate complex data, developments, and projects in order to provide recommendations to resolve technical issues. Support the company's business operations and improve engineering productivity. Build software components that can be integrated into a fully functional software system. Solve production issues in product and system reliability. Write high-quality code (i.e. reliable, readable, efficient, testable), provide high-quality code reviews, and create comprehensive tests and quality documentation using software engineering principles. Monitor product quality in the production environment, identifying, triaging and fixing bugs and inefficiencies. Work with cross-functional teams to help define the problem space, contribute to product requirements, and design and develop system solutions. Design, implement, and integrate scalable and resilient system solutions to address infrastructure gaps. Collaborate with other engineering teams in Uber Infrastructure to drive end-to-end design, execution, and product rollout in a safe and sustainable format. Participate in on-call rotations and employ best practices to troubleshoot production incidents. May telecommute.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
