About The Role

The Community Operations organization at Uber is responsible for delivering world-class customer support to riders, drivers, eaters, and couriers. Within our Community Operations organization, our business development team focuses on revenue generating activity. Team Leads for Business Development manage the Business Development Representatives and are principally centered on people management of teams focused on revenue generating activity.

What You'll Do

  • Communicate and set clear expectations with team members
  • Coach and develop sales agents
  • Understand local Ops strategies and ensure team operations are aligned to maximize impact
  • Drive strategic plans to improve team performance
  • Work with stakeholders in Ops and Sales for reviewing output and pushing sales strategy/tactics down to Comm Ops team

What You'll Need

  • Proficiency in English and additionally French or Spanish is required
  • At least 1 year of customer support experience in B2B, sales, account management or environment is required
  • People development and coaching experience in team environment is required
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and prioritization skills with ability to manage through ambiguity is required
  • At least 2 years of sales or account management experience is preferred
  • At least 1 year of people management experience is preferred
  • Any additional language proficiency will be a plus.
