About the Role

The Operations Manager for Uber Eats in Denmark plays a pivotal role in the rapid expansion and success of Uber Eats within the Danish market.

This is the first Operations Manager on the Uber Eats team in Denmark, where you will be given the chance to optimize our current operations, enhance as well as develop partnerships which will be influential to the success of Uber Eats in Denmark.

The successful candidate will work with stakeholders across the business to drive initiatives to harmonize our 3 operations (eater, merchant, courier) to turn our move from launch into a seamless, high growth marketplace across Denmark.

  • What the Candidate Will Do

  • Drive operational efficiency and shape strategy for Delivery operations (Eaters, Couriers, Merchants) in the Danish market.

  • Coordinate high-impact, cross-functional projects , enshuring alignment, visibility and accountabiltiy across a diverse set of stakeholders.

  • Analyze complex data, build models, and provide strategic insights to advise senior leadership on long-term strategy and decision-making.

  • Conduct comprehensive root cause analysis of risks and opportunities, and develop actionable solutions to stimulate market growth.

  • Monitor and forecast market performance, identify trends, and take accountability for project outcomes and critical metrics.

  • Actively contributing and shaping the Danish P&L by identifying trends, and taking accountability for project outcomes and critical metrics.

  • Basic Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of experience supporting complex, cross-functional projects (operations, consulting, or market expansion).

  • Fluent in Danish.

  • Understanding of the Danish market and customers.

  • Solid analytical/problem-solving skills; comfortable with SQL or similar data tools.

  • Experience and ability to navigate with ambiguity and define as we go.

  • Solid collaboration and stakeholder management skills - building deep, trust-based relationships with teams and cross-functional partners (e.g. Legal, Policy, Product and Tech).

  • "Go get it" proactive mindset with operational rigor-balances moving fast with building scalable solutions.

Bonus Points, if you have experience

  • Exposure to launching or scaling new markets, products, or cities in high-growth, regulated settings.
  • Previous experience with marketplaces and e-commerce (e.g tech, consulting or other fast paced environments).
  • Business judgment and critical thinking skills with the ability to use data to develop strategies and make decisions quickly
  • Highly competent in presentation skills, including experience presenting data & insights to a higher level stakeholders
