About the Role

As a Product Manager in the People Tech team, you will play a foundational role in innovating around Uber's entire hiring ecosystem. You will be responsible for defining and shipping high-leverage products that enable intelligent and magical experiences.

This role will be working cross-functionally with design, software engineers, integration engineers, system engineers, and business stakeholders. You will shape and build Talent Acquisition outstanding products that span across a range of experiences, from prospective candidates to recruiters, sourcers, hiring managers and interviewers.

The team is rapidly growing and delivering significant impact, so we are looking for an enthusiastic, user and impact centric Product Manager to join the team.

  • What You'll Do

  • Pioneer best-in-class talent products and innovative employee experiences.

  • Architect a seamless candidate journey across diverse tech stacks and processes.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to define tech strategy, long-term roadmaps, and business impact.

  • Drive product requirements and adoption with a customer-centric mindset.

  • Define critical metrics and lead teams to deliver intuitive candidate and admin tools.

  • Balance trade-offs between schedule, performance, and cost to ensure operational excellence.

  • Identify and resolve risks proactively to meet strategic and financial (ROI) goals.

  • Communicate vision and progress through regular updates to Uber executives.

  • Own the lifecycle: manage backlogs, triage issues, write PRDs, and define user stories for engineering.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, data science, and UX researchers.

  • Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years Product Management experience at a tech company.

  • Computer science undergraduate degree or other engineering degree equivalent.

  • Keen user centric point of view and experience and data-driven decision-making ability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding and background in the workforce, talent, and people technology tools and ecosystem

  • A "driver" personality - constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery while balancing the need for phenomenal collaboration.

  • High standards across the board - from your own contributions to the people you work with to the products you work on.

  • Passion for Uber's mission and the company's hybrid technology/operations nature.

  • For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD**$161,000 per year**

  • USD**$179,000 per year**.

You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Uber's cultural identity. Unless formally approved to work fully remotely, Uber expects employees to spend at least half of their work time in their assigned office.
