About the Role

We are seeking high-performing students to join Uber as an Account Representative Intern (Summer 2026) for a 12-week, performance-driven sales experience.

This internship is designed as a direct pathway into a full-time Account Representative role in Chicago for interns who demonstrate strong performance, sales aptitude, and long-term interest in a career in technology sales.

You will be immersed in Uber's high-impact Sales culture, partnering with experienced sellers and leadership to gain hands-on experience prospecting, negotiating, and closing new merchant partnerships.

This is not simply a shadowing internship - you will own real territory, real targets, and real revenue impact.

About the Team:

Whether it's a sandwich, a burrito, or groceries, the Uber Eats team connects people with what they want, when and where they want it. The Uber Eats Sales Team is responsible for anticipating the wants and needs of our end users. When there's a new restaurant in town, we are on it!

Our Uber Eats Sales Team is on the frontline introducing restaurant partners to Uber Eats and partnering with restaurants to grow our businesses together.

Each day, we bring the mindset of a champion. Our ambition is what drives us to achieve our mission. How we define a champion mindset isn't based on how we perform on our best days, it's how we respond on the worst days. We hustle, embrace the grind, overcome adversity, and play to win for the people we serve. Because it matters.

When you're not meeting with restaurants, we invite you to join us in "Uber's most awesome office" (that's a direct quote from our CEO, Dara Khosrowshahi). Our new Chicago office is located in the iconic Old Post Office with a floor plan that allows for the entire team to collaborate on one floor. You will have access to all the amenities: a full-service kitchen and coffee bar (free breakfast and lunch), library, game room and a private rooftop deck with walkways, gardens, gathering areas, two pickleball courts and a basketball court!

Working at Uber in Chicago is a perfect mix of Midwestern hard work and generosity. Surrounded by iconic architecture, a bold skyline, and beautiful Lake Michigan, the Uber team here is a reflection of the eclectic and dynamic Chicago population.

What You'll Do:

As an Account Representative Intern, you will:

  • Own a defined Midwest territory and prospect new small-to-medium-sized businesses
  • Execute outbound outreach (cold calling, email, in-person visits)
  • Clearly communicate the value of Uber Eats and its products
  • Achieve and exceed defined performance targets
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure smooth merchant activation
  • Develop repeatable prospecting strategies and best practices
  • Represent Uber's mission and brand with professionalism and competitiveness

You will gain exposure to the full sales cycle while building the core skills required for a long-term sales career.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking students who are:

  • Intentionally pursuing a career in sales, business development, or revenue roles
  • Competitive, resilient, and motivated by performance targets
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting and rejection
  • Coachable and eager to improve their craft
  • Strong communicators with executive presence
  • Interested in building a long-term career in Chicago post-graduation

This internship is ideal for students who want to develop into high-performing sellers in the technology space.

Full-Time Pathway

  • At least one academic term remaining following internship completion
  • Availability for a 12-week internship beginning May or June 2026
