About the Team

You will join Uber's South Korea's Strategy & Planning Team. This team fulfills a key business partner function within the organization, working to distill business insights to craft an informed strategy, champion effective growth investments and enable organizational efficiency.

• Chart and champion the mid-to-long-term growth pathway for the business. set a vision and solve problems from 30,000 feet as well as dive deep into the details.
• Steer the business towards aligned strategic goals and drive the strategic decision-making processes through your analytical and operational approach.

• Working across different functions and geographies will mean you will have considerable visibility of business operations to drive substantial business outcomes.

What You Will Need:

• Highly developed business judgment and critical thinking skills with strong data driven mentality to quickly to identify the highest value priorities and develop a strategy to pursue them
• Clear and concise communicator, able to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the key take-aways, and disseminate practical insights
• Super data driven - we use data to advise our decisions. You'll quickly identify what data you need to solve a problem and how to analyze it to get to the answer. You'll have experience dealing with sophisticated data sets, deriving insights and checking against what you see in the real-world
• Explorer - the ability to self-serve, investigate and get the insight we require will make you much more effective in this role. Self-starter mentality is a must!
• Proficiency in Korean highly preferred
• We are also open to candidates based out of Hong Kong
• Mix of strategy consulting / advisory and in-house experiences preferred
