Job Details:
Summary
This position is responsible for planning and supervising the execution of cost-effective and timely maintenance necessary for the operation of all equipment. Key duties include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and Support Maintenance Personnel: Lead and guide your team to ensure all maintenance tasks are executed efficiently.
- Administer PSM Program: Work closely with contractors and vendors to modify or install equipment.
- Troubleshoot Technical Issues: Resolve new and different technical problems related to equipment.
- Maintain Records and Ensure OSHA Compliance: Keep detailed records and ensure all OSHA standards and programs are implemented.
- Instruct on PPE Use: Educate team members on the proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Improve Ergonomics: Implement new ways to enhance ergonomics within the facility.
- Coordinate Schedules and Attendance: Manage team member schedules, clocking reports, and attendance records.
- Conduct Safety Meetings: Hold monthly safety meetings to ensure a safe working environment.
- Shift Management: Oversee responsibilities across all three shifts of refrigeration maintenance.
Requirements
Education:
- Education beyond high school, including special training, vocational school, and/or college courses, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience.
Computer Skills:
- Basic computer skills.
Communication Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Supervisory:
- This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.
Travel:
- 1 to 5 trips per year.
