Job Details:

The pay starts at $18.00 per hour or higher. Certain positions offer a perfect attendance incentive of $2 or more per hour. Additionally, 2nd shift positions include a $1 per hour shift premium.

Job Description

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Job duty summary

This position could work in any department of this meat processing facility. Standing, walking, bending, squatting, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required in all areas and lifting up to 50 pounds for some positions. Must be willing to work in damp, cold or hot environments and humid environments and these areas have slippery walking surfaces. Be able to stand 8- 10 hours a day on hard surfaces. Able to perform repetitive motion. Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas. Must wear PPE, frocks, gloves, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard. These positions may involve use of a knife and or scissors to bone out or trim pieces of product.

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
