Job Details:

Starting Pay $21.35 - $30.30/hr

A-Shift Every Monday & Tuesday, Every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 6 a.m.

• 6 p.m.

This position is responsible for operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Rendering General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. You must be able set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery. Must be willing to learn Tyson SAP software, and other software systems, to make work orders and/or fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Must be willing to read, write, and communicate effectively to communicate machine readings to proper personnel. Must be willing to use mathing to lift 60 lbs. climb ladders and work at heights up to and exceeding 30’ daily and be willing to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours. Must as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Applicants must be willing to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat, and reach. Team Members who hold these positions must be willing to work in either cold, damp, or hot, humid environments and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces. Must be will be willing to complete all required training for the job and be willing to participate in job rotation.The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Must have a valid MO driver’s license and no DWI/DUI within the past 12 months.

Basic Maintenance or Mechanical Skills/Knowledge/Work History listed on application or resume.

Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.

Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.

The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
