Job Description

This position is a starter position in the Refrigeration Department to perform cleaning/washing Ammonia refrigeration air units and HVAC /MAUs units on the roof, change filters, clean roof area,etc and shadow Refrigeration Techs to be trained in the ammonia refrigeration system and will be considered for any future Refrigeration Tech positions open.

Need to create Maintenance Notifications, work orders, and confirm time into the SAP system.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Applicant must be able to work in are hot/cold/wet environments.

Position requires pushing, pulling, or lifting over 40 lbs. and climbing ladders above 10 feet.

Position requires walking and standing approximately 8.5 hours/day on concrete floor.

The work schedule is 6 days a week, be off during the week, and must be able to work on weekends and holidays as scheduled. This position may require you to rotate shifts as needed and must be willing to work overtime as needed.

Position requires passing a Level 4 pulmonary function test and physical and be recertified each year to maintain position. This job requires being clean shaven to get a proper fit while using APR/SCBA equipment. Requires being a member of the Plant Hazmat Team.

Must be able to complete Refrigeration and General Maintenance computer-based training.

Applicants MUST have at least 6 months of industrial refrigeration experience or be a recent graduate from an accredited school for HVAC or Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration.
