Job Details:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for all administrative and operational activities of a Tyson owned Logistics & Distribution Center. This position is responsible for overseeing and supervising team members in a manner that is consistent with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include direct oversight of all supervision and hourly team members responsible for receipt storage and shipping of product through the distribution center. This position is responsible for inventory accuracy, warehouse damage safety programs, facility condition, and performance tracking of Supervisors and Team Members.

Other responsibilities include the monitoring of daily and weekly productivity, and interface with Transportation Groups, Customer Service Representatives, Plant Operations Group, and other internal and external customers. Responsibilities also include other duties, as assigned, that may not be listed here.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Education beyond high school (including special training, vocational school and/or college courses) preferred.

Experience: 5 plus years’ experience in a shipping or warehouse operation environment at a supervisor level; higher management experience is preferred.

Computer Skills: Standard computer skills.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel across departments or work units who perform similar and or interrelated tasks and activities.

Travel: 3-4 trips per year.
