Job Details:
Position Summary:This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordinating the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to team members and carried out timely and correctly. This role also involves monitoring all equipment to ensure it is working properly and notifying the Supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor all equipment to ensure proper functioning and promptly notify the Supervisor of any maintenance needs.

Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Read and understand manuals, blueprints, plant paperwork, labels, etc.
Qualifications:

Ability to read and understand manuals, blueprints, plant paperwork, labels, etc.

Strong communication skills to effectively relay instructions from the Supervisor to team members.

Attention to detail to monitor equipment and identify maintenance needs.
-
Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment in accordance with Tyson policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
-
Six (6) months or more of Lead experience required
-
Six (6) months or more of machine Operator experience required
-
This position will be required to obtain LOTO (lockout tagout), fall protection, PIT (if needed) training, also.
Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Must be willing and able to lift to 70 pounds on a frequent basis.
-
Will be exposed to possible warm or cold temperatures, wet, humid, or dusty conditions.

Must be willing and able to walk, bend, and stand.
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
