Where is the work:

•  Prioritize engaging with customers. When not directly interacting with customers; collaborate with colleagues in your office

What you will do: 

•    Be the reliable primary contact for warehouse movement and for customer and local transportation provider interactions
•    Stock and organize product inventory for smooth to ensure safe working environment  

•    Equipment maintenance and repair (ie. HVAC industry tools and servicing equipment)

•   Ability to provide support at jobsites to Service Technicians in the field as well as in warehouse
•    Maintain, stock and arrange office and warehouse supply inventory required for effective operation,

•   Maintenance of cylinder and refrigerant storage, monthly or as necessary

•     Work with local, regional freights companies (setup times, hot shots, etc)
•    Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and freight accurately

•    Load and unload freight using material handling equipment, power industrial vehicles such as a forklift; maintain work equipment, inbound/outbound shipments, loads and picks material into/out of warehouse racks, between locations, Log inbound freight (UPS, Federal Express, Airborne, DHL)

•    Inspect new shipments for freight damage 
•     Locate parts ensuring pallets are stable, observing pallet heights, material, racking, and equipment are not damaged and material is not left in aisles
•    Satisfies customer demands of internal customers to include the timely delivery or removal of designated materials to or from the supported shop. Delvers high priority materials ahead of routine materials previously requested    
•    Completes trainings as required including safety training, certification and testing    
•    Reinforces culture of safety by utilizing all appropriate resources to safely preform all job functions     
•    Perform housekeeping as required including purchasing warehouse supplies to maintain building environment

•    Practices safely operating assigned material handling equipment ensuring all equipment in use has been inspected and in safe condition. Report all accidents/unsafe conditions to supervisor
•    Stage parts and equipment for upcoming work orders

•    Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as needed

What you will bring:

·       HS Diploma or equivalent required

·      Previous Warehouse and power industrial vehicle experience such as a forklift

·      Forklift certification preferred or desire earn certification

·       Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with hand held computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad)

·      Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:

o    DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years

·       EPA Universal Certification, Preferred

Additional Requirements and Environmental Exposure:

·         Must be able to safely and legally operate a vehicle using a seat belt

·         Must be able to wear helmets, safety goggles, fall protection harness and safety boots to safely perform job duties

·         Must be able to twist the trunk of your body 90 degrees in each direction

·         Must be able to squat and touch the floor with both hands

·         Must be able to reach your hands over your head

·         Must be able to stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods, routinely up to 4 hours

·         This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, kneeling and climbing ladders. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move more than 40 lbs.

·         Must be able to safely use a ladder with a 375 lb. total weight limit, while carrying equipment of 50 lbs. or less

·         Must be able to maneuver confined access areas, as small as 30” vertical x 45” horizontal

·         Must be able to comfortably and routinely access rooftops with extension and/or fixed ladders at heights of 15’ to 20’, and occasionally, up to 50 feet +

·         This role may be exposed to variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, risk of electrical shock, noisy operating equipment and other variable environmental conditions based on location

This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive.    

Compensation: 

Base Pay Range: $25 to 30 per hour
