Service Team Leader (m/f/d)

for our location in Oberhausen

In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising a team of service technicians in a region. In addition, you will develop and manage administrative processes and resource planning to optimize productivity, capacity utilization, and margins. You will create transparency in key performance indicators, assist with analyses, and ensure accurate input for billing. You will coordinate international agreements and drive continuous improvements to further strengthen efficiency and business development.

Tasks:

• Leadership, support, and development of a team of service technicians

• Planning and preparation of installation and repair assignments

• Ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and standards

• Evaluating safety-related requirements in the field and assisting with training

• Working closely with internal teams to optimize resource planning and service quality

• Administrative responsibility for the compressor workshop

• Communication interface with internal and external customers to ensure high customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• Completed training as a mechatronics engineer for refrigeration technology, refrigeration plant engineer, or in a related technical field with experience in refrigeration technology, ideally further training as a technician or master craftsman

• Professional experience with a focus on operations management, project management, or team leadership

• Experience in leading a team, preferably with knowledge of performance management, employee appraisals, and conflict management

• Strong initiative, entrepreneurial thinking, and goal-oriented work

• Very good communication skills in German and English, both verbal and written

• Good knowledge of MS Office
