BAS /Controls Sales Team Lead

to join our Sales Team.

We're seeking an experienced and motivated professional to launch our new Trane BAS portfolio to the Hungarian market. In this role you will help facilities run smarter, safer, and more efficiently with cutting-edge automation solutions by assessing market needs, identifying potential customers, presenting our products’ solutions, and collaborating with our local sales team to develop and implement growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Develop and implement strategies to grow BAS sales, identify new business opportunities and market trends to expand the BAS portfolio

·       Drive new business development for Trane BAS Sales in Hungary, ensuring accountability for achieving the country's sales budget.

·       Promote BAS solutions and prescribe Trane Global offers to end users and consulting engineers.

·       Collaborate with and train Sales Engineers on effective BAS sales techniques to secure orders within the market.

·       Collaborate with key market stakeholders, including end users, designers, contractors, and subcontractors

·      Manage orders, quotations, and proposals for BAS solutions, ensuring they are tailored to customer needs and fulfilled accurately and on time.

·       Identify and organize necessary resources to achieve project objectives

·       Develop and execute project strategies, ensuring compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

·       Define and monitor tasks assigned to project team members.

·       Ensuring that all project documentation, information, and records are maintained in an organized, accurate, and up-to-date manner.

·       Suggest improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and achieve targeted objectives.

·       Prepare monthly sales forecasts, attend sales & technical meetings were required.  

Qualifications: 

·      Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Mechanical/HVAC/Electrical Engineering. Additional certifications in Building Automation Systems (BAS) or related technologies are a plus

·       5+ years of proven technical sales experience in Controls/Building Automation Systems, with comprehensive knowledge of BAS products and the market.

·       Must have a sound technical knowledge of BAS products and solutions with the ability to identify the needs and provide the best solution for the customer.

·       Demonstrated drive, energy, and results-oriented approach for exploring and building new markets.

·       Demonstrated expertise and strong technical capability to design, configure, and build Building Automation System (BAS) solutions

·       Must be flexible, professional and communicate well with internal and external stakeholders, 

·       Team player.

·       Effective sales and negotiation skills with the hunter approach.

·       High standard of personal presentation. 

·       Full driving license. Reediness to frequent travels across Hungary (80% of the time).
