Who we’re looking for
Toyota Risk Department is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Consumer Credit Program Product Manager.
The primary responsibility of this role will lead the full lifecycle of credit and fraud policy implementation within decision engine applications, transforming complex policies into clear, actionable, and testable criteria.
Reporting to the National Manager, Consumer Credit and Fraud Risk, you will drive agile roadmap planning, foster collaboration across engineering and stakeholders, and help shape the strategic future of Toyota’s credit and fraud decisioning ecosystem.
What you’ll be doing

Own and manage the end-to-end implementation of credit and fraud policies in decision engine applications, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and continuous improvement.

Translate complex policy intent into precise, testable acceptance criteria with comprehensive edge-case coverage and strong traceability.

Collaborate closely with engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and enhance platform capabilities that boost developer productivity and system reliability.

Lead agile roadmap and backlog refinement to ensure timely delivery of high-impact features aligned with business goals.

Champion best practices in software development, testing, automation, and service integration to elevate the entire development ecosystem.

Establish and track clear performance metrics that demonstrate product value and drive continuous improvement.

Communicate product vision and progress effectively to technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership, bridging complex technical concepts with business impact.

Build and maintain strong vendor and partner relationships to ensure successful delivery of key product capabilities and integrations.
-
Partner with Architecture and Engineering to develop a multi-year strategic roadmap for the credit and fraud decisioning ecosystem, translating vision into actionable milestones.
What you bring
-
Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, or related field.
-
5+ years of relevant experience in product management, technology design, or technical leadership within credit risk, fraud prevention, or financial services.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams and deliver complex products in fast-paced, agile environments.
-
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical and business concepts to diverse audiences.

Skilled at navigating organizational structures to influence change and coordinate efforts effectively.
Added bonus if you have

Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s) that deepens your expertise in product management, technology, or risk management.

Experience automating processes through decision engine applications or credit/fraud risk platforms.

Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development best practices.

Strong vendor management and partnership experience.
