🎯 Overview

🌍 Context
Within the Marine Structure & Architecture Department of the Technology Division, you will contribute to the design, development and performance of Total Energies’ floating offshore assets.
Your scope will be global, working closely with project teams, affiliates, engineering partners and industrial stakeholders.
Your role will also support innovative and fast‑growing activities such as offshore wind and carbon capture & storage (CCS).
Activities🔍 Your Responsibilities Design & Engineering
- Contribute to all project phases: feasibility studies, concept development, FEED, detailed design, construction and commissioning.
- Prepare design bases and technical specifications.
- Review, challenge and optimize solutions proposed by engineering contractors and shipyards.
Technical Performance & Operations
- Design and optimize floating structures & mooring systems: hydrodynamics, stability, fatigue, model testing.
- Supervise engineering studies, construction activities and critical operations: transport, launching, float‑over, mooring installation.
- Support asset integrity, maintenance strategies and life‑extension assessments.
Expertise & Standards
- Participate in R&D projects (offshore wind, CCS, low‑carbon technologies).
- Contribute to the development of technical standards and conduct active technological watch.
- Take part in technical audits (project and operations).
International Collaboration
- Support TGP and project teams in identifying suitable service providers.
- Work across several projects simultaneously, both in France and abroad.

Candidate Profile Experience & Technical Skills
- Engineer degree in marine engineering, naval architecture and offshore.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in naval architecture.
- Strong background in designing and executing marine structures and floating units.
- Proven experience supervising studies, construction works and offshore operations.
- Solid knowledge of hydrodynamics, stability, fatigue and mooring systems.
- Excellent writing skills in French and English.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
