As a Senior Engineer at TJX India, you will work with a team that partners with the EDA Data Foundation team and delivers products for one or more customer analytics product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design end-to-end data engineering solutions on Snowflake and Azure Data Lake

Design and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using ETL (Talend), Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Snowflake

Translate business and functional requirements into robust technical designs and implementations.

Drive performance tuning, cost optimization, reliability, and scalability of data pipelines.

Collaborate with data, analytics, and visualization teams to deliver high-quality data products.

Develop and maintain detailed functional and technical documentation.

Support solutioning efforts across design, testing, and implementation phase.

Ensure data governance, security, and privacy standards are embedded into data pipelines.

Contribute to data modernization initiatives by defining patterns, standards, and best practices.

Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to improve data engineering capabilities.

Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What You will Need (Minimum Qualifications):

At least 5 years in-depth, data engineering experience and execution of any ETL (Talend/ Datastage) data pipelines, scripting and SQL queries

A minimum of 2 years of experience in Azure cloud environment with Azure Function, Azure Databricks, Azure Event Hub, Azure Event Grid, Azure data lake, Azure Data factory

A minimum of 1 year of experience on hands-on coding in python and/or Pyspark on Azure Databricks environment

3 years of experience working in Agile and Scrum frameworks

Good knowledge of Data warehousing and ability to understand star schema

Work experience in relational database and hands-on on writing SQL queries, stored procedure extensively

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in ETL (4+ years) for implementing large scale Data Engineering projects

Experience in Data Engineering and DevOps knowledge

Experience in programming languages like SQL, Python / Pyspark, Shell Scripting and Scala.

Experience in Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps and Spark platforms

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
