iOS Software Engineer - TikTok Intelligent Creation - Singapore

About Video Creation Team:

Our team's mission is to empower Tik Tok users to turn creativity into reality via videos. We build the core video creation product to support tens of millions of Tik Tok creators every day. All the viral props and effects you find on Tik Tok are developed by us, via close collaboration with Tik Tok AR effects and multimedia teams. Our goal is to build the world's best video creation software. On this team, you will be working with our XFN partners to define a world-class video creation experience, designing the architecture of Tik Tok video creation tools and pipelines, and shipping cutting-edge features to take Tik Tok to the next level.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement the new-user features of our mobile application.
2. Collaborate with the design and product teams to create a world-class mobile experience.
3. Analyse and optimize iOS applications for efficiency and performance.
4. Promote robust and maintainable code, clear documentation, and deliver high quality work on a tight schedule.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

1. BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent majors with experience in native iOS development.
2. Strong understanding of software development principles, capabilities and limitations of iOS platform.
3. Proficiency in Objective-C or Swift.
4. Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Minimum 3 years relevant work experience from a large-scale internet business
2. Good team communication and collaboration skills.
3. Passion and experience building consumer-facing products is a huge plus; We would love to hear about apps you've developed!
