THE ROLE
As Thrive Market continues to scale rapidly, we're seeking a Manager of Product Analytics to lead our product analytics function and drive data-informed decision making across our digital experience. You'll manage a team of talented product analysts while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Growth teams to unlock insights that shape our product strategy and member experience.
This role combines people leadership with hands-on analytical work, requiring someone who can both guide a team to excellence and dive deep into complex analyses when needed. You'll build the frameworks, processes, and culture that enable our product organization to make confident, data-driven decisions at speed. RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and develop a team of 3-5 product analysts through mentorship, performance management, and career development

Partner with Product and Engineering teams to define analytics requirements early in the product development lifecycle

Own the Standard Product Feature Workflow ensuring consistent execution across all product initiatives from specification through post-launch analysis

Oversee Amplitude implementation including event taxonomy, property definitions, instrumentation requirements, and data quality standards
-
Drive solutions to reduce friction in analytics workflows, particularly around time-consuming instrumentation reviews and Magento data transformations
-
Create executive-level dashboards and presentations that translate complex analyses into actionable business recommendations
-
Manage resource allocation and prioritization across Member Growth, Member Engagement, Operations, and Platform pods
-
Support 80+ annual product features with rigorous A/B testing design, analysis, and recommendations
-
Establish automated significance testing capabilities to reduce manual processes for non-binary metrics
-
Coordinate cross-platform instrumentation changes requiring synchronized releases across iOS, Android, and Web
-
Champion migration to modern experimentation tools including Amplitude Experiment for improved variant tracking

Define and socialize north star metrics and KPIs aligned with business objectives
-
Maintain comprehensive documentation for legacy analytics implementations and ensure new features follow standards

Lead Amplitude office hours and training programs to increase organizational data literacy
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related quantitative field; advanced degree preferred

5+ years of product analytics experience with 2+ years managing analytics teams
-
Advanced SQL proficiency with ability to write complex queries handling large-scale e-commerce data
-
Expert-level Amplitude knowledge including instrumentation, SDK implementation, and advanced analysis features

Deep understanding of A/B testing methodology, statistical significance, and experimental design for binary and continuous metrics

Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis and automation

Proven ability to influence product strategy through data-driven insights and stakeholder management
-
Track record of building and optimizing analytics workflows in fast-paced environments
-
Experience with e-commerce analytics, particularly subscription business models
-
Familiarity with Magento or similar e-commerce platforms and their data structures
-
Strong project management skills balancing urgent stakeholder requests with long-term process improvements

Experience coordinating technical requirements across mobile and web development teams
-
Demonstrated success improving team efficiency through process standardization and tool adoption

Excellence in written and verbal communication with ability to present to technical and executive audiences

Compensation Description

The base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $200,000/Per Year.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and geographic location.

Total Compensation includes Base Salary, Stock Options, Health & Wellness Benefits, Flexible PTO, and more!
-
This position requires traveling to our HQ office in Los Angeles, California, twice a year for all-company summits; once in the summer and once in the winter.
