The ideal candidate will take pride in achievement via persistence, enjoy figuring out prospective customer organization hierarchy, and revel in helping our Sales Executives close new business. An enthusiastic hand-off to a Sales Executive with background information on the prospect is a job well done. This position is based in our Ann Arbor, MI office, with an option to work hybrid upon completion of training.
About the Role:

-
Develop ongoing relationships with prospective customers by being a resource, demonstrating a good understanding of our key products, and communicating effectively (oral and written).
-
Cultivate and nurture prospects to advance them from unknown status to an appointment with a Sales Executive or scheduled product demo.
-
Be creative and unique in outreach efforts that drive hand raising opportunities.
-
Make outbound phone calls to prospective customers to collect information and set or confirm appointments. Use social media best practices and networking skills to connect with and engage prospective customers.
-
Work with our talented Marketing team on new methods to reach prospective customers and get the word out.
-
Assist Sales Executives in customer and prospective customer follow-up.
-
Strive for meeting and exceeding targets for contacts made, appointments set, relevant information collected, and overall sales pipeline growth with the ultimate goal to aid in bringing on new business.
-
Be curious and motivated to deliver top-notch job performance and then potentially springboard into other roles in the organization.
About you:
-
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Good at storytelling, capturing interest, and engaging customers and prospective customers in a compelling way. Fast learner with a demonstrated aptitude to learn new skills and topics related to client collaboration technology.
-
Strong time management and organization skills.
-
Team player with good collaboration and listening skills.
-
Driven and passionate about achieving goals and moving the needle.
-
Knowledge of the public accounting space or professional tax preparation is a plus.
-
1-2 years in outbound-focused sales or other customer-oriented roles/internships (support, customer service, etc.). SDR/BDR experience is a plus but not required.
-
Salesforce CRM experience is a plus but not required.
