DESCRIPTION: Position Summary:
As the Product Manager of the Environmental and Food Safety (EFS) Business Segment, you will be responsible for designing new products for environmental and food safety sector. Leadership skills and collaborative mindset will be crucial for releasing those new products combining technologies from different Business Units. Commercialization will be key in this position to insure internal alignment between all stakeholders (Business units and Field resources) and positive customer experience.
Job Description

Collaborate directly with EFS Business Development Managers and KOL manager to gain insights into the current and future technological requirements of the market.

Develop and commercialize products that support customers across a variety of applications and segments.

Contribute to the development of the EFS product strategy, with a focus on cross-divisional collaboration that prioritizes customer needs, portfolio roadmaps, and integration into the Thermo Fisher Scientific value proposition.

Provide product management support to sales, technical support, and operations.

Gain alignment on product development roadmap, including target expansion and software development accordingly with the application development team.

Partner with CMD R&D, provide valuable feedback to help prioritization

Analyse market needs, workflow opportunities, and future trends.

Adopt practical process improvement (PPI) methodology to enhance the customer experience.
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience will be considered.

MBA or Ph.D. will be a plus.
Experience:

5 years of experience in environmental and food market, business development, application development,

In-depth understanding of EFS market, regulations and competitive landscape.

Ability to distil customer requirements, understand competitive strengths and weaknesses, and develop compelling product offerings and value propositions.

Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution

Project management skills to coordinate multiple concurrent initiatives

Customer-centric mindset with deep understanding of market dynamics

Knowledge of relevant scientific/technical domain preferred for specific product lines

Understanding of quality and regulatory requirements for applicable markets

Ability to travel up to 25% (including international)
