Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday, 1st shift

About the Role

The Senior Manager, Supply Chain will lead the Materials Management team and develop a high-performing team responsible for materials planning, inventory control, and supplier performance across the kitting operations. This role champions execution of supply chain strategies that maximize operational efficiency, enhance service levels, and minimize working capital, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional partnership in support of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Materials Management team, fostering high engagement, accountability, and professional growth
  • Define team priorities aligned with business goals, set performance objectives, and track progress against key metrics
  • Build organizational capability through coaching, training, and talent development plans

Materials Planning & Inventory Management

  • Oversee materials planning processes, ensuring master production schedules and material requirements plans meet delivery needs
  • Manage inventory levels to balance service performance with working capital targets; minimize excess, obsolete, and slow-moving stock
  • Optimize policies for safety stock, reorder points, lot sizing, and demand variability

Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Partner with procurement and suppliers to secure critical materials, negotiate terms and contracts, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
  • Establish strong supplier relationships to enhance responsiveness, cost competitiveness, and risk mitigation

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve constraints and support studies and change initiatives
  • Establish, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for materials management performance
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and system enhancements; drive implementation of best-in-class tools and practices
  • Lead corrective actions when performance does not meet defined goals

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive supply chain and materials management experience with at least 3–5 years in a leadership capacity

Skills & Expertise

  • Strong expertise in materials planning, inventory optimization, procurement practices, and logistics operations
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced data analytics for performance measurement and decision support is preferred
  • Demonstrated track record leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact results
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  • Commitment to operational excellence with a continuous improvement mindset
