Job Description

To support implementation/optimization/management of vision recipes for automatic inspection of pharmaceutical products, existing and new, with special regard to liquid products in Pre-Filled Syringes (PFS), autonomously or with help of machine vendor’s technicians

Main responsibilities:

·       To support projects for implementation of automatic visual inspection of pharmaceutical products, in main phases: feasibility, configuration of automatic machine, validation, production.

·       To collaborate with other site functions for management of changes to be applied to vision recipes in order to guarantee continuous improvement and reduction of false rejection rates, in compliance with quality standards and current regulations.

·       To perform together with the team of specialists, the system operational tests and writing of technical documents to support deviations, change controls, validation activities, optimization activities, new processes, etc.

·       To ensure, the accurate operation of automatic vision systems, with special consideration for new implemented products.

·       To perform checks and investigations in case of exceeding limits for defect rates, working together with relevant internal functions.

·       To get in contact with vendors of automatic visual inspection machines, for intervention on site or by remote connection; to participate to FAT activity, commissioning and qualification on site for new machines.

·       To support discussions with Clients related to visual inspection, for new projects or eventual issues found during production activity, striving to customer happiness.

Education and training:

Computer science/Engineering degree or other scientific field of study

Technical and computer skills:

knowledge of vision system principles

Knowledge of cGMP

Use of common Office software tools and applications

Languages:

Good knowledge of English language
