Job Description Key Responsibilities:

Managing the team, including goal setting and task allocation
-
Planning of aseptic manufacturing at the Vilnius site
-
Ensuring all resources required for manufacturing and support are available
-
Managing daily operations and project-related manufacturing activities
-
Participating in the resolution of customer complaints
-
Ensuring accurate and compliant documentation
-
Training employees according to their assigned tasks
-
Ensuring availability of tools and maintaining a safe working environment
Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline with 5 years of experience in a GMP-regulated biologics or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment,or
-
Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant GMP manufacturing experience
Technical & Process Expertise
-
Strong working knowledge of bioprocessing and biologics manufacturing, including experience with:
-
Antibody purification and downstream processing
-
Conjugation or similar chemical/biochemical modification processes
-
Filtration operations (depth filtration, ultrafiltration)
-
Aseptic processing and fill-finish operations
-
Experience supporting or leading new product introduction (NPI) and process implementation in a manufacturing environment
GMP, Quality & Regulatory Compliance
-
Solid understanding of cGMP requirements and applicable US/EU regulatory standards
-
Experience executing and maintaining GMP-compliant operations, including:
-
Batch record execution and review
-
Deviation investigation and documentation
-
Root cause analysis and implementation of CAPA
-
Experience supporting internal audits, quality reviews, and regulatory inspections
Leadership & Operations Management
-
Demonstrated ability to supervise and develop manufacturing or technical staff, including:
-
Daily work planning and task assignment
-
Performance feedback and coaching
-
Training and qualification of operators and technicians
-
Ability to manage shift-based or multi-task manufacturing operations while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule adherence
-
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and R&D partners
Continuous Improvement & Risk Management
-
Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, PPI) to improve manufacturing performance, quality, and robustness
-
Working knowledge of risk assessment and root cause analysis tools (e.g., FMEA, Fishbone, 5-Why)
