Job Description

The Position

Development and/or transfer of GMP grade biopharmaceutical products designed for use in Cell Biology area, development and validation of QC methods, preparation of method validation plans and reports, method transfer to Operations, troubleshooting and continuous support of our products.

Responsibilities

• Design and perform research experiments together with project team
• Develop of analytical methods for use in protein functionality / quality analysis
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of relevant fields and techniques
• Present proposals and project updates when required
• Contribute to ideas for new products and improve procedures
• Validate / verify analytical methods in accordance with ICH guidelines and / or customer requirements
• Independently prepare SOP’s, instructions, plans and reports of method development and validation
• Support of our products provided to product management and manufacturing teams

Requirements

• BSc/ MSc / PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry or other life sciences related discipline
• 2+ years of experience in pharma or biotech industry, preferably in analytical development
• Solid experience with analytical assays such as ELISA, WB, PCR/qPCR, endotoxin analysis, enzymatic activity assays, protein and nucleic acid electrophoresis, bioassays, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of enzymology and analytical techniques
• Experience in statistical methods and regulations related to biologics would be an advantage
• Demonstrated skills in all relevant laboratory procedures and use of equipment
• Ability to analyze experimental data and effectively explain conclusions. Design and execute follow-on experiments independently
• Maintain an accurate and detailed lab notebook
• Mentor less-experienced staff with technical issues and project challenges
• Highly motivated to work in high-pace environment, committed to complete all tasks on time
• Possess strong team skills in a collaborative and transparent working environment

Compensation

The monthly salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €2 625,00–€3 937,50.
