Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic PV Project Delivery Manager to lead and oversee pharmacovigilance (PV) service delivery across one or more client projects. This role is responsible for the successful coordination of contracted PV services—including case processing, safety writing, signal detection, safety reporting, QPPV services, and more—ensuring quality, compliance, financial stewardship, and client satisfaction.

As the primary client point of contact, you will partner cross-functionally to drive operational excellence, manage project risks, maintain financial health, and ensure deliverables meet key performance indicators (KPIs). This is a high-impact role requiring strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and business acumen.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, leading operational, tactical, and governance meetings
  • Oversee end-to-end project planning, execution, maintenance, and close-out activities
  • Drive timelines and ensure delivery of PV services across all functional areas
  • Monitor project scope, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with global PV regulations, SOPs, and client requirements
  • Oversee development and reporting of project metrics (KPIs, volumes, quality measures)
  • Maintain full financial oversight of assigned projects, including budget tracking and forecasting
  • Partner with contracts and finance teams on scope changes, renewals, and modifications
  • Negotiate scope adjustments to protect revenue and gross margin
  • Lead preparation for and participation in client audits and regulatory inspections
  • Present financial and operational updates in internal review meetings
  • Collaborate with PV functional leads to ensure performance targets are achieved
  • Support departmental initiatives and serve as a subject matter resource

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or related clinical research environment

  • Demonstrated experience managing PV projects or portfolios

In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of global pharmacovigilance regulations and compliance requirements
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-functional projects
  • Experience with financial oversight, budgeting, and scope management
  • Strong risk assessment and mitigation capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong client-facing experience and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

We value the health and wellbeing of our employees. We support and encourage individuals to create a healthy and balanced environment where they can thrive. Below is listed the working environment/requirements for this role:

  • Able to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas with diverse groups of people in a comprehensible and reasonable manner.
  • Able to work upright and stationary for typical working hours.
  • Ability to use and learn standard office equipment and technology with proficiency.
  • Able to perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects or activities.
  • May require travel. (Recruiter will provide more details.)
