Position Summary:

We have an opportunity for an experienced professional to join us at GBS Heredia as Revenue Accountant I. This is a varied role that would suit an individual looking to utilize their skills, experience, and initiative to drive the performance and achievements of the revenue accounting team forward. In this position, the incumbent will be responsible for collating order documentation and ensure that high-value invoices are reviewed in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily update of invoice review logs in Excel.

  • Retrieval of invoice documents and Customer Purchase Order documents from ERP.

  • Following up with customer care to request documents that are not available.

  • Reviewing customer purchase order documents against invoices to ensure contract terms alignment and following up with customer care on any issues identified.

  • Retrieval of carrier proof of delivery documents at end of quarter cut off period.

  • Collating of documentation for samples requested by auditors.

  • Reviewing blocked billing documents in ERPs and following up with customer care and IT to resolve issues prior to closing.

  • Identifying and clearing offsetting transactions in deferred revenue balance sheet accounts.

  • Uploading of Journal Entries in Blackline and ERPs.

  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations.

  • Other ad hoc tasks.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required, Bachelo's in Finance, Accounting, Economy, or years of equivalent / demonstrable experience in the position.
  • 1- 2 years of experience.
  • Previous work experience in Shared Service Centers.
  • B2+ English Level.
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
  • Experience and capability to handle at least one ERP system
