How You Will Make an Impact

This role maintains and accounts for the inflow and outflow of product through the business. You will be responsible for inventory control-related tasks, implement inventory control measures to ensure the company minimizes stockholding and improve stock and system accuracy. The role works closely with inward goods and dispatch to ensure necessary functions are conducted correctly and inventory accuracy is maintained. You will carry out general Logistics and Warehousing duties, supporting our Manufacturing Operations, and helping the company deliver to our customer's expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inventory counts and ensure raw materials, work in progress and finished goods are accounted for and reported according to company policy
  • Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations
  • Perform daily cycle counts of inventory
  • Review date-sensitive products for expiration and facilitate removal or transfer of product as needed
  • Ensure incoming product is receipted and handled appropriately following company procedure
  • Produce daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the stock system are controlled and any discrepancies are resolved
  • Provide support to inward and outward goods
  • Perform Logistics tasks including loading and unloading of trucks, movement of raw materials and intermediate goods into and out of the Manufacturing facility and packing and palletisation of goods
  • Perform general warehousing and housekeeping tasks in the Warehouse, Freezers and Yard
  • Observe EHS policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy workplace
  • Contribute to PPI ideas and practice continuous improvement in advancing quality and cost, and efficiency gains

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 1-2 years previous experience in a warehouse environment
  • Relevant forklift license
  • Experience operating ERP systems
