DESCRIPTION:

Join our collaborative team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute to global science and healthcare. As a Marketing Operational Specialist II, you'll help advance our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner and safer through strategic marketing initiatives. You'll work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels. This role offers opportunities to develop your marketing career while contributing to scientific advances.

Key responsibilities include:

· Provide administrative and operational support to the Digital Merchandising Team including the following:

· Coordinate digital marketing campaigns/tactics such as marketing database entries, workflow scheduling, activating tactics on tf.com, supporting digital merchandising tactic types.

· Communicate with business partners on launches, performance and troubleshooting.

· Monitoring Adobe Target platform performance of merchandising campaigns

· Review entry requests, ensure appropriate / required fields are completed, and then approve the requests to open the workflow.

· Evaluate and monitor campaign/tactic performance with the ability to provide insights.

· Inform and pursue process improvement needs, as well as collect feedback from the team and businesses.

· Manage organization and documentation of functional team’s process guides and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Degree or Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in life sciences or healthcare
  • Preferred Fields of Study: Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • Professional marketing certifications valuable
  • Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing channels (email, social, search, display)
  • Strong proficiency in marketing automation platforms (Eloqua, Workfront, Adobe Experience Manager)
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and visualization tools (PowerBI, Adobe Analytics)
  • Excellent project management capabilities managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
  • Detail-oriented with focus on achieving objectives
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into compelling marketing messages
  • Travel may be required (10-15%)
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2-4 years related experience (digital campaign management, integrated marketing across search, paid media, email, web, social, customer service, sales, events, onsite stores).

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

· Ability to work effectively with remote teams (virtual team environment) in different time zones.

· Able to build relationships with key individuals necessary for collaboration.

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, demonstrates natural leadership capabilities, able to thrive under tight deadlines and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, project management and proofreading skills.

· Experience working within Digital Marketing systems, i.e. Adobe Target, AEM, Workfront and Stitch.

· Moderate proficiency using excel, power point, Microsoft teams.
