In this role, you'll transform complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain scalable analytics solutions, create intuitive visualizations, and deliver critical reporting that enhances business performance. Using your expertise in data analysis and visualization tools, you'll identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization while ensuring data accuracy and integrity. You'll provide analytics guidance, proactively recommending solutions and improvements based on your findings. This role combines technical expertise with business acumen to deliver impactful insights that support our company's continued growth and success
A Day in the Life:
- Extract, analyze, and interpret large datasets from multiple data sources
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and automated reporting solutions
- Write and optimize advanced SQL queries to support business insights
- Design and enhance data models to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency
- Support and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical solutions
- Provide proactive recommendations based on trends and performance analysis
- Ensure adherence to data governance and quality management standards
- Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Keys to Success:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative discipline with 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., Power BI, SQL, data analytics) are a plus
Experience:
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and advanced Excel
- Strong experience in dashboard development, data visualization, and report automation
- Experience working with ETL processes and data pipeline development
- Experience analyzing large datasets from multiple sources
- Demonstrated reliability and consistently met established timelines
- Served as a thought partner to stakeholders by proactively identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and partnering to define problems and guide data-driven decision-making
- Critical thinking and curiosity to translate data into meaningful insights
- Marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, or life sciences experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and data warehouse concepts preferred
- Familiarity with Python, R, or other programming languages preferred
- Understanding of data governance and quality management principles
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong business acumen and customer focus
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional stakeholders including leadership teams
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $83,300.00–$110,000.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
