Sr. Scientist – FLOW / ELISA / MSD
Shift: Full-Time; Thursday - Monday; 8am-5pm EST
ONSITE:
This is a fully onsite role based at our customer’s site in (Boston, MA). We welcome applicants from all locations within the US. Please note that relocation assistance is not provided for this position, and any relocation costs will be the responsibility of the candidate.

Our Laboratories Functional Service Partnership (FSP) team plays a direct role in advancing drug development by creating sustained groups of talent within our customers’ organizations to provide long-term support. Key responsibilities:
- Perform and Optimize Assays: Execute, optimize, and troubleshoot manual cellular and molecular assays, including ELISA, MSD, Flow Cytometry, and PCR.
- Ensure high-quality and reproducible results through rigorous attention to detail and adherence to protocols.
- Analytical Testing Support: Independently perform routine analytical testing to support Cell and Gene Process Development activities.
- Maintain control charts and perform data trending for various assays to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental workflows, protocols, and results.
- Assist in generating comprehensive documentation to support experiments.
- Compile experimental data into clear and concise presentations and reports.
- Perform data visualization and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Assay Development and Design: Develop assay design criteria using Design of Experiments (DOE) and other contemporary development tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful transfer of developed assays and resolve technical issues during the transfer process
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in lab sciences such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Material Science, Immunology, Biology, Molecular Biology or similar
- Sr. Scientist: Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job**(comparable to 4+ years’)**
- OR Masters degree and previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years’)
- OR PhD
In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with a variety of molecular and cell-based assays, including MSD,ELISA,Flow Cytometry, and PCR.
- Proficiency in assay development, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with additional molecular-based assays such as NGS and potency assays is a plus.
- Documentation and Reporting: Experienced in writing technical documents, including development reports, qualification protocols, and qualification reports, within a CMC-regulated environment.
- Collaboration and Communication: Proven ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful assay development and implementation.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, think critically, and design proof-of-concept studies using scientific literature.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $95,000.00–$105,000.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
