Position Purpose:

Security support of the Non Product Facility security program. Assist with security and safety related issues and develop relationships with all existing and new Non Product facilities. Provides other security related functions as a Corporate Security Manager.

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 2P to 10P.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops relationships with key personnel at each non product facility
  • Manage technical security issues for non product facilities
  • Manage physical security issues for non product facilities
  • Defines security standards for non product facilities
  • Assists in investigations as needed
  • Provides Executive Protection to Senior Home Depot personnel as needed

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

  • Typically reports to Sr Director
  • 8-10 direct reports

Travel Requirements:

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

  • Most all of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).

Working Conditions:

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • 7-10 years of experience is preferred

Minimum Education:

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Competencies:

  • Must be able to communicate both verbally and written. Must possess skills to effectively interact with and communicate with HD associates. Must possess analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of technical security to include card access, CCTV and intrusion detection systems.
  • Knowledge of physical security to include perimeter protection, lighting and locks and locking devices.
  • Project management experience.
  • Security management experience
  • Experience operating in an International environment
