The pay range is $58,100.00 - $104,600.00

As a Program Owner – Capital Program Governance & Execution, you will ensure Fire & Intrusion capital projects are delivered with operational discipline, financial accuracy, and data integrity across our portfolio. You will own the systems and execution framework that enable consistent project delivery from initiation through closeout. Operating with autonomy, you will manage multiple concurrent projects, proactively identify risks, and implement process improvements that strengthen compliance and reliability.

Core Responsibilities include:

  • Establish and maintain project setup across enterprise systems to ensure accurate financial coding, documentation control, and lifecycle tracking.

  • Lead coordination across technical teams, field partners, and vendors to ensure clear kickoff alignment, structured communication, and action tracking.

  • Monitor and validate project documentation and asset records to ensure readiness for financial closeout, audit compliance, and long-term lifecycle accuracy.

  • Identify execution risks, process gaps, and data inconsistencies; implement scalable improvements that enhance delivery reliability.

  • Drive standardization of capital execution practices to improve portfolio-wide consistency.

About you:

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience.

  • 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, capital programs, construction operations, property management, or related field.

  • Demonstrated experience working within enterprise project or asset management systems (SAP, Procore, Maximo, or similar platforms). Ability to quickly learn and navigate complex system environments is required.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently while maintaining accuracy and timeline discipline.

  • Advanced organizational skills with strong attention to data integrity and documentation control.

  • Ability to translate technical system requirements into clear, structured workflows.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including leading structured meetings and documenting outcomes.

  • Experience identifying process inefficiencies and implementing improvements across cross-functional teams preferred.

  • Ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive accountability without direct authority.

  • Proven ability to take initiative and operate independently in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
    This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
