The pay range is $73,000.00 - $132,000.00

A role at Target Printing Services (TPS) means becoming part of a dynamic team that drives the strategy of internal partners such as Marketing and Store Operations through print and kitting projects.  The TPS team has a wide range of responsibilities including but not limited to planning, press, fulfillment and distribution, enabling us to positively impact guest and team member experiences while embodying Target’s core values.  

 

Role Overview 

As the Manager, Printing Services – Planning: Execution Enablement, you lead the Project Planning team responsible for preparing work for accurate, efficient, and on-time production within TPS. You ensure planning execution is consistent, production-ready, and aligned with intake priorities and capacity direction. 

 

In this role, you manage a team of Project Planners and are accountable for planning quality, workload balance, and execution readiness. You partner closely with the Sr. Manager, Printing Services – Planning Strategy to translate planning strategy into effective day-to-day execution. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead, coach, and hold Project Planners accountable for planning accuracy, quality, and timeliness across all work. 

  • Balance and assign workload to ensure consistent flow, throughput, and execution readiness. 

  • Ensure job tickets, material and outside service orders, and production instructions are complete, accurate, and executable. 

  • Partner with the Sr. Manager, Printing Services – Planning to define, track, and deliver against planning OKRs and performance metrics, using data to identify risks and drive improvement. 

  • Monitor planning performance, identify constraints or execution risks, and escalate issues with clear recommendations. 

  • Partner with key TPS stakeholders—including Production, Scheduling, Quality, Systems, and internal customers—to ensure alignment, feasibility, and smooth execution. 

  • Drive continuous improvement of planning workflows, standards, and tools to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability. 

  • Support onboarding, development, and performance management of Project Planners to build a strong, resilient planning team. 

 

About You 

  • 5+ years of experience in print planning, production operations, or related roles. 

  • Experience leading or mentoring teams in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. 

  • Strong understanding of print production workflows and execution readiness. 

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and make sound operational decisions. 

  • Strong communication skills and ability to partner effectively across TPS and internal customers. 

  • Experience supporting multi-shift production environments preferred.
