INTERN – BRAND AND COMMUNICATIONS (CREATIVE)

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are on the lookout for an Intern – Brand and Communications (Creative) with a key eye for storytelling, a passion for content creation and an interest in learning more about corporate communications, the technology industry and the workings of a global, Fortune 500 organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborating with the Brand and Communications team on corporate communications, content creation and photography/video-related productions; including learning about business communications in the technology industry

• Being a Tik Tok and Instagram hero, creating buzz-worthy content to promote Sysco LABS

• Working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and handling day-to-day responsibilities paying close attention to detail

• Supporting colleagues with different communications needs that may arise

REQUIREMENTS:

• Pursuing a degree in Psychology, Sociology, Communications, Business Administration, or a similar field (or have some excellent skills in these areas)

• Experience in digital media marketing and content creation

• A passion for photography; previous experience with videography or photoshoots will be an added advantage

• Having a strong online presence on Tik Tok (extra points if you're a Tik Toker)

• Working knowledge of Adobe tools such as Photoshop or Illustrator), Canva and Cap Cut; familiarity with MS Co-Pilot or ChatGPT and similar GenAI used for content creation will be advantageous

• Having amazing verbal and written English communication skills

• Having intellectual curiosity and the ability to work independently

• Able to research and summarize complex or extensive subject matter; organizing information and being able to clearly articulate ideas

• A keen eye for detail and exposure to creative writing and social media content creation
