Senior Product Manager, Neurosurgical - Italy Location: Any major city in Italy

The opportunity

Stryker is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead our Neurosurgical marketing strategy in Italy, while collaborating with colleagues across Europe. This is a high-impact role where you’ll combine deep local expertise with international exposure, driving product launches, shaping strategies, and supporting clinicians in their mission to save lives.

Key Activities & Responsibilities

Market & Customer Insights

  • Conduct competitive analysis and monitor market dynamics.

  • Gather and interpret insights from clinicians, KOLs, and hospital stakeholders to shape the value proposition.

  • Identify unmet or emerging needs and propose innovative solutions.

Strategy & Marketing Planning

  • Develop strategic plans, annual marketing plans, and product launch strategies.

  • Translate strategy into concrete marketing activities and tactics.

  • Forecast budgets and resources, and justify key investments.

Value Proposition & Brand Positioning

  • Define segmentation, targeting, and positioning for the Italian market.

  • Build and communicate clear value propositions supported by clinical and economic evidence.

  • Act as brand steward, ensuring alignment with European and global strategy.

KOL Management & Evidence Generation

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and thought leaders.

  • Leverage clinical and economic evidence to support marketing initiatives.

Sales Enablement & Training

  • Support the sales team with technical knowledge, messaging, and training materials.

  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

  • Ensure alignment of Italian sales efforts with international priorities.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor and inspire colleagues, fostering cross-functional collaboration.

  • Work closely with the EMEA team and local Italian stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

  • Demonstrate accountability, financial acumen, and a drive for continuous improvement.

Requirements of the role

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 6+ years of work experience, including at least 2 years in marketing.

  • Fluent in English and Italian.

  • Strong knowledge of the Italian healthcare ecosystem (systems, paperwork, stakeholders).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA preferred.

  • Med Surg or neurotechnology experience desirable (not mandatory).

  • Experience in marketing and/or sales in the healthcare sector.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
