Manages the Global SLMS Shared Services (GLSS) team processes and resources supporting Stryker globally to ensure the successful alignment and execution of training strategies, initiatives, and solutions. Responsible for all aspects of GLSS. This role ​works closely with the Global Training Administrators/Coordinators/Specialists across Stryker to drive the training process, implement training solutions, and triage requests/needs.

What you will do:

  • Provide leadership and direction to team members in the GLSS.

  • Partner with the business, as the training process and systems expert, to advise on training initiatives/solutions.

  • Lead the implementation or improvement of training systems usage, procedures, and processes.

  • Partner with global training admins, managers, process owners and subject matter experts to assess training needs for their functional area(s) of responsibility; assist in translating needs into training solutions.

  • Implement processes to ensure accurate triaging of training requests.

  • Support, or own, NC/CAPAs related to training outcomes/processes, drive resolution.

  • Monitor and respond to changes in Workday and SLMS data that have the potential to impact the reliability and/or automation of training assignments in LMS.

  • Assist global training administrators on their responsibilities by providing tools and resources to enable their success.

  • Generate and distribute metrics/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), monitor progress and take timely action to address adverse trends and deviations.

  • Partner with functional groups to offer solutions to manage training requests and inquiries.

  • Collaborate with LMS system owners to establish standard practices.

  • Participate in communities of practice (COPs or tactic teams) that seek to improve strategies, programs, and processes across the organization globally; lead these efforts if necessary.

  • Manage the processing of advanced access requests in the LMS.

  • Ensure training process compliance with regulatory standards and quality requirements.

  • Collect and present on training performance metrics to leadership during periodic meetings and forums (e.g., Quality Systems Management Review) if needed.

  • Represent GLSS processes during regulatory body audits/inspections and support requests.

  • Establish, monitor and enhance SLAs for training inquiries.

  • Partner with the LMS system owners to support platform upgrades, enhancements, and ensure help ticket Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are being met; identify process improvements where possible.

  • Communicate system issues affecting the business’ ability to conduct and/or document training to drive awareness and timely resolution.

  • Deliver live training related to LMS, as needed.

  • Assist GLSS team to remove barriers to their investigate or recommend systemic improvements to the LMS.

  • Provide support to other functions, related to training needs and compliance.

  • Collaborate with the members of the e Systems team regarding updates/impacts to the LMS.

  • Contribute to the development of optimum future state of LMS.

  • Understand system integration and their impact on GLSS processes.

  • Contribute to the improvements of policies and procedures as they relate to the LMS.

  • Coach key stakeholders on their responsibilities within the training process, provide tools and resources to enable and sustain their success.

  • Identify improvements and inputs into the LMS and its related functions.

  • Investigate and address requests from the business to document training records, support troubleshooting of courses in the LMS.

  • Support acquisitions and system integrations as needed.

What you need:

  • Fully Fluent in English (written & spoken).

  • Strong knowledge of GMPs, ISO13485, and 21CFR820 requirements.

  • Ability to influence management, business groups, and Subject Matter Expert (SME)’s toward a recommended thought or action.

  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite and strong excel skills

  • 5 years minimum of experience working in a highly regulated quality and/or compliance environment.

  • Prior experience leading project teams and/or supervising others.

  • Prior experience leading, managing a shared service/support function - preferred.

  • Prior experience creating or leverage power bi and other metrics reporting tools.

  • Demonstrated experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS), document management, and change control processes.

  • Prior experience working with, or implementing, a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) with a training system integration - preferred.

  • Experience supporting training processes for global operations.

  • Working knowledge in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Quality System Regulations.

  • Knowledge of training needs analysis, instructional/program design, development and evaluation, adult learning concepts and learning methodologies a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree with concentration or emphasis in Training & Development, Education, Quality, Business, Psychology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Travel Percentage: 10%
