Help empower our global customers to connect to culture through their passions.
About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Content Lead to define and elevate StockX’s editorial and social voice. This role is for a culture-forward storyteller and people leader who understands how great content shows up in feeds, lives in moments, and builds long-term brand love.
Reporting to the VP of Creative, you’ll be responsible for shaping StockX’s narrative across editorial and social channels - setting the vision for digital content alongside our ACD, and ensuring our content is sharp, relevant, and unmistakably StockX.
This is a Detroit-based role with a strong in-office presence and close collaboration with our Creative, Social, and Brand teams.
What you’ll do
Own and evolve StockX’s content strategy across platforms and formats
Be a hands-on content maker: writing, shooting, editing, designing, and shaping photo and video content for editorial and social outputs as both an individual contributor and a key player in larger team projects
Ensure consistency across editorial, social, and brand storytelling
Partner closely with Creative, Social, Brand, Comms, and Product Marketing to bring ideas to life
Guide content for major cultural moments, campaigns, launches, and community conversations
Shape daily and long-form editorial programming that reflects culture, credibility, and curiosity
Ensure content is platform-native, audience-first, and built for how people actually consume media
Use performance insights to refine strategy without compromising creative integrity
Build scalable editorial processes, calendars, and standards that support speed and quality
Stay deeply plugged into culture, trends, and the StockX community - anticipating what matters next
About you
6-8+ years of experience in editorial, content, or social storytelling, with 3+ years leading/guiding teams, projects, etc.
Strong editorial instincts and a proven point of view on culture, voice, and storytelling
Deep understanding of social platforms and how editorial content performs within them
Experience shaping brand narratives through owned and social channels
Exceptional writing and editing skills—you know how to elevate work without flattening it
Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence across creative disciplines
Comfort operating in a fast-moving, culturally driven environment
A passion for sneakers, fashion, streetwear, or adjacent culture spaces
Nice to have skills
Background in editorial media, design, art direction, publishing, or digital-first brands
Experience working closely with designers, video teams, and social strategists
Familiarity with global audiences and culturally nuanced storytelling
