Role Description
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who is passionate about quality and automation. As an SDET, you will work closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and ensure highquality software delivery at scale.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable test code using industrystandard tools and frameworks
Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and define test strategies
Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and endtoend testing
Automate tests across UI, API, and backend layers
Identify, log, track, and verify defects, ensuring timely resolution
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Participate in code reviews, test plan reviews, and sprint ceremonies
Continuously improve test coverage, quality metrics, and automation reliability
Mentor junior QA/SDET team members (for mid/senior roles)
Core/Must have skills
8+ years of relevant experience
Strong programming skills in Java / Python / C# / JavaScript
Handson experience with test automation frameworks such as:

Selenium, Playwright, Cypress
-
Appium (for mobile testing)
Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar
Knowledge of test design patterns, test data management, and mocking/stubbing
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Harness, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, etc.)
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologie
Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Spec Flow)
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
High attention to detail with a qualityfirst mindset
Ability to work independently and in crossfunctional teams
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
Good to have skills
Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6)
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience testing microservices architectures
