Software Engineering & Development (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Austin TX): Will focus on design, data modeling, development and performance tuning. Will be working on building Cloud based DW solutions for F2B clients. Specific duties of the position include: assisting, from a technical standpoint, in the implementation of a Data Model for Enterprise Data Platform servicing F2B clients; designing and developing scalable enterprise web applications involving cloud-based infrastructure(Azure/Snowflake/Python/Cosmos DB); applying understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) and architect end-to-end solutions using Java and Azure Cloud technologies; leading end to end development life cycle of multiple modules in a large-scale enterprise data warehouse systems; implementing system integration solutions to produce and translate data from multiple source systems to target data warehouse system; implementing secure code practices and resolve any application vulnerability issues identified or reported during security testing; quickly evaluating various new cloud technologies and complete POC driving architecture design for the applications; writing SQL queries/Stored Procedures for SQL Server or any another Relational Databases(Oracle/SQL Sever/Snowflake); producing and supporting overnight COB/SOB processing of accounting data, regulatory, client statement, and new client feed generation; installing, configuring and testing software; problem investigation; database configuration, tracing and performance analysis; addressing data issues, environment issues, performing impact analysis, root cause analysis, corrective, adaptive and perfective maintenance.

Minimum requirements are: Bachelor’s Degree, or its equivalent, in Computer Science, or related technical field plus 7 years of experience as Software Engineer or in any occupation/title providing software engineering experience in financial services industry.

Total experience above must include: expertise in Java, Springboot, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes and Snowflake; experience in implementing solutions using Azure Cloud native technologies like CosmosDB, Storage Accounts, or AKS; experience in implementing Reactive, Event Driven solutions using Event Hub, Event Grid, MQ and Kafka technologies; proven team player with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, initiative and self-motivation; proven ability to multi-task; energetic fast learner and problem solver; proven ability to make effective decisions and can manage change; demonstrated experience using Azure, Snowflake, Python, or Cosmos DB; experience with Micro Services like API, Event Driven Architecture, Development Release Engineering automation for code distribution to different client regions/instances; experience in Financial services, working in front- or middle-office; experience dealing with users or clients from either a technical or business area; desire to work in Client facing environment. Salary Range:

$155 709 - $210 000 Annual
