Role Purpose
The Officer – Operational & Technical Readiness role is a joint position supporting both Operational Readiness and Technical Readiness for new client onboarding, launches, conversions and system migrations (including ZILO). The role is responsible for supporting the design and implementation of global operating models, conducting due diligence and gap analysis, coordinating requirements, and supporting UAT and migration readiness. The incumbent will work closely with Operations, IT, Product, and clients to ensure solutions are operationally viable, technically sound, and delivered in line with agreed onboarding timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Support operational and technical readiness activities for new client onboardings, conversions, and system migrations.
- Participate in due diligence, gap analysis, and requirements gathering sessions with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Document business, operational, and technical requirements, workflows, and operating model decisions.
- Support the design and documentation of operating models.
- Coordinate closely with Technical Readiness, Operational Readiness, Operations, IT Development and Product.
- Support UAT and model office testing, including test preparation, execution support, and defect tracking.
- Maintain readiness artefacts such as onboarding plans, questionnaires, execution plans, and sign-off documentation.
- Track actions, risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating where required.
- Support client-facing meetings and governance forums for readiness-related topics.
- Assist in assessing regulatory, compliance, and operational impacts of new requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of onboarding playbooks, templates, and readiness processes.
- Ensure adherence to Transfer Agency Project Office standards, templates, and governance.
Knowledge & Skills – Essential
- Strong understanding of Transfer Agency operations, systems, and operating models.
- Experience supporting client onboarding, conversions, or project delivery within financial services.
- Ability to capture, document, and analyse operational and technical requirements.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and locations.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a change environment.
Knowledge & Skills – Desirable
- Experience with TA systems and client onboarding platforms.
- Exposure to UAT, model office testing, or system migrations.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within fund services.
- Business Analysis or Project Management exposure.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
Travel
Willingness to travel on an infrequent basis (primarily Ireland and UK,).
