Who we are looking for:

We are currently seeking for a Functional (Payment) Business Analyst to join our team, who will be working on our strategic Corporate Lending Program within Global Credit Finance IT. The role will focus on multiple projects across the program which is comprised of IT projects on Loan IQ related to new business revenue opportunities, transformation (including Payment Transformation initiatives) and risk excellence initiatives. This role will report to the GCF IT Program Manager and will also support other lending efforts on new portfolio management tools, and BAU efforts to support the Global Credit Finance (GCF) business.

What you will be responsible for:

As a Functional (Payment) Business Analyst within Global Credit Finance IT you will:

  • Interact with various stakeholders to identify, define and document detailed business requirements
  • Actively engage and execute assignments for large and complex business solutions initiatives across Global Credit Finance
  • Lead transformation initiatives in payments including industry wide move of SWIFT ISO20022- from MT to MX, legacy payment system migrations and real time payment integration and readiness
  • Conduct analysis and mapping activities for various payment interfaces required to implement payment transformation projects.
  • Analyze data files and map data to target application/interface for use by technical resources to develop connectivity and integration readiness.
  • Provide input to the technology solutions and recommend appropriate enhancements aligned to industry standard practices
  • Provide in-depth evaluation of new IT efforts and evolving business requirements and priorities to recommend applicable system solutions (tactical vs. strategic)
  • Appropriately assess business processes, systems and industry standards when developing solutions and recommending appropriate alternative process
  • Research and respond to queries and issues raised by internal clients and partners
  • Identify areas requiring analysis of existing process and usage of loan system and provide resolution or recommendation for more efficient operations
  • Experience in product or platform-wide release and change management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies
  • Assist in special projects as needed

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

  • Knowledge of electronic banking applications and systems, including high and low volume payment systems (Swift, Money Transfer, ACH, DDA, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communications to build trust and rapport with stakeholders, partners and customers
  • Strong collaborative problem solving skills working across divisions and geographical boundaries
  • Proficient knowledge of product and software development life cycle, design and business analysis
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Superb prioritization and time management skills
  • Strong understanding of Corporate Lending and Loan Servicing
  • Experience in using Loan IQ and using Agile methodologies and tools like Jira
  • Techno-functional skillset
  • Ability to write SQL Queries
  • Knowledge and experience in working closely with Operations, IT partners, vendor and Change Management.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance or related fields
  • Minimum of 5+ years of technology delivery experience in financial services
  • Business Analyst experience
  • Strong understanding of Finastra Loan IQ functionality, including business transaction processing and Loan IQ front end tables.
  • Knowledge of support tools such as Salesforce and other issue tracking tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results President

Salary Range:

$90,000 - $157,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
