Position Overview
The Transformation & Projects role is a senior position within the CMS Service Delivery team, focused on driving strategic transformation, automation, and data-driven initiatives across operations. The role requires strong technical expertise, project management capability, and stakeholder engagement to deliver scalable solutions, enhance efficiency, and support continuous improvement aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Transformation & Automation: Lead and deliver transformation initiatives across CMS, leveraging automation and analytics to improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Identify opportunities for process re-engineering and digitization.

Project Management & Delivery: Manage end-to-end delivery of projects, including scope definition, planning, execution, risk management, and reporting. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable business outcomes.

Data & Analytics Enablement: Design, develop, and maintain data solutions using Python, SQL, and Power BI to provide actionable insights, management dashboards, and performance metrics for senior stakeholders.

Process Optimization: Partner with business, technology, and COEs to analyze existing processes, identify gaps, and implement optimized future-state solutions using Lean and continuous improvement principles.

Stakeholder & Change Management: Act as a key liaison between business users, technology teams, and leadership. Support change management through clear communication, training, and adoption tracking to ensure successful implementation.

Governance, Risk & Controls: Ensure transformation initiatives comply with risk, control, and regulatory requirements. Proactively identify and mitigate project and operational risks.

Mentorship & Capability Building: Coach and guide team members on analytics, automation tools, and project best practices. Contribute to building a strong transformation and data culture within the team.
Required Skills & Competencies

Strong expertise in Python for data analysis, automation, and solution development.

Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and validation across large datasets.

Proven experience developing dashboards and insights using Power BI.

Hands-on experience with Power Automate for workflow automation and process integration.

Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications
-
8+ years of relevant experience in transformation, projects, analytics, or automation roles, preferably within financial services or operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects and delivering measurable improvements.

Certifications in project management, analytics, or automation (e.g., PMP, Agile, Power Platform) are advantageous.
