Who we are looking for
State Street’s Financing Solutions division encompasses three products: Agency Lending, Prime Services and Secured Financing (Repo). These products allow State Street clients to generate income, facilitate short sales or generate financing through the lending and borrowing of Securities. The Agency Lending product is a long-established business and State Street is considered an industry leader in this space. The Prime Services and Repo products are more recently established and are among the fastest growing products at State Street.

What You Will Be Responsible For
As a Product Strategy Analyst, you will contribute to the development and delivery of product strategy, support the implementation of new products, assist in managing regulatory change, and provide business solutions aligned with the evolving needs of the industry. You will help assess new product proposals against existing capabilities and coordinate with teams across the business to define and plan required changes. This role requires strong collaboration with Trading, Operations, Relationship Management, Legal, Risk, Finance, Tax, Compliance and Technology teams to ensure all perspectives are considered and incorporated.
Key Responsibilities

Support cross functional teams across the bank in designing and implementing solutions to complex business challenges involving both existing and new products.

Conduct detailed analysis with stakeholders required to progress specific projects and initiatives.

Assist in identifying potential areas of risk or exposure and contribute to developing solutions to mitigate risk to Financing Solutions, State Street, and its clients.

Help manage project activities across multiple departments, ensuring timelines, requirements, and deliverables are well‑structured and achieved.

Contribute to defining and validating the scope of projects, ensuring proposals are clearly articulated and reviewed with relevant areas before product implementation.

Support the due‑diligence process by helping identify risks and potential mitigants for new product launches and enhancements to existing products.

Develop subject‑matter expertise in assigned products and initiatives, enabling you to support internal teams in understanding, positioning, and deploying new product offerings to clients.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
-
5 - 8 years of experience in financial services, ideally within securities lending, repo, , or equity finance/prime brokerage.

Ability to organize, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel and Visio.

Experience supporting or coordinating projects; formal project management experience is a plus.

High attention to detail with the ability to distil and summarise key concepts for varied audiences.
